Museum Development
The Depot Historic Vehicle and Memorabilia Collection
The Depot is an exciting new tourism destination in Deniliquin. We worked with the Purtill family and the team at the Purtill Group to project manage the curation, design and development of the project for the 18 months before it officially opened in 2020.
The objective was to create a space filled with nostalgia and discovery, taking the collection out of dusty sheds and allowing it to be experienced and enjoyed.
The curation challenge was to identify the stories within the collection and present them in compelling ways for a broad audience.
As a new business, we needed to develop all the business and curation systems as well as create everything from branding and signage to artwork and displays.
